General information

Music courses
The courses will start on the morning of July 29^th and will end on the morning of August 4^th.
The basic tuition fee for singing and instrument courses covers individual lessons, collective lessons and the ensemble workshop, that includes the study of dance forms, in relation to the performing practice of steps and structures. Students that are already enrolled in one singing od instrument course may also attend 7 individual lessons of another singing or instrument course with a supplementary charge (see below).

Dance and Theatre
The basic tuition fee for dance and theatre courses includes the possibility to attend the seminar Tra storia della danza e danza storica (3 classes taught by Claudia Celi).

Dance courses will be held in the following days:

Baroque dancing: July 30^th to August 3^rd (12 hours plus final students' concert)
- Renaissance dancing: July 28^th to 30^th (12 hours)
- XIX Century Ballroom dancing: (12 hours plus final students' concert)
- The Theatre course (30 hours total) includes 6 hours of early dance (taught by Claudia Celi).

Fees:

Registration:

• with advance payment up to june 26^th 60.00 euros
• with advance payment after june 26^th 100.00 euros

Tuition:

• Music courses (singing or instrument, inclusive of ensemble workshop): 260.00 euros
• Supplementary singing or instrument course (7 individual lessons, ½ hour each): 180.00 euros
• Dance courses (Renaissance, Baroque or Early XIX Century - each one12 hours total, plus workshop Tra storia della danza e danza storica): 210.00 euros
• Theatre course (30 hours , plus workshop Tra storia della danza e danza storica): 400.00 euros
• Feuillet notation Workshop (3 hours): 60.00 euros
• Waltz Workshop (3 hours): 60.00 euros

Special discount
Students enrolled to more than one course are entitled to a 10% discount on all tuition fees.
Examples:
- one dance course plus seven singing or instrument lessons: 351 euros instead of 390
- two dance courses: 368 euros instead of 420
- three dance courses: 567 euros instead of 630
- one singing or instrument course plus one dance course: 423 euros instead of 470
- one singing or instrument course plus seven lessons of another instrument: 396 euros instead of 440
- two dance courses plus seven singing or instrument lessons: 540 euros instead of 600
- theatre course plus seven singing or instrument lessons: 522 euros instead of 580.

The registration fee and 50% of the tuition fees must be paid in advance by bank transfer to the account 10114Q in the name of "Il Teatro della Memoria" at Banca Antonveneta, Branch 1206 (European IBAN bank codes IT34M 05040 03237 00000010114Q - BIC: ANTBIT2PC06), or by money order to: Il Teatro della Memoria c/o Andrea Toschi - C.P. 17100 - 00189 Roma Grottarossa (Italy). For residents outside the Euro area, credit card payments are accepted through PayPal. Send us the registration form by e-mail and we'll send you complete paying instructions. The advance payment shall not be refunded in case of cancellation after june 30^th. If the cancellation arrives before june 30^th, the advance payment will be refunded with a deduction 30.00 euros

The balance must be paid before the beginning of the courses.

The maximum number of students for each course is thus determined:

• singing or instrument courses: maximum 10 per course
• dancing courses: maximum 25 per course
• theatre course: maximum 20

Students will be enrolled according to the order of arrival of the registration forms. Those that cannot be admitted because the maximum has been reached will be promptly informed, and the amount paid will be refunded, unless they want to enroll in another course.

The Direction reserves the right to modify the programs. The courses for which the minimum number of registrations will not be reached will be cancelled, and the amount paid will be refunded.

The registration desk will be open at the Consorzio Professionale (via Fratelli Bedeschi, 9) on July 28^th from 5 to 8 PM.

General travel and housing information
Bagnacavallo is located near Ravenna. The closest airports are Bologna and Forlì, but only a few international flights arrive there, so you might have to fly to Milano, Venezia or Roma and then reach Bologna by express train (Intercity or Eurostar). There are regional trains from Bologna to Bagnacavallo about every hour (travel time one hour). You can consult the website http://www.trenitalia.com/en/index.html for the schedules.

The registration includes the possibility to enter the Youth Hostel also from 11 AM to 3.30 PM, when the Hostel is closed to the public.
We have obtained special rates for lodging:
· The Youth Hostel (tel. 0545-60622 - fax 0545-937228 - e-mail: info@ostellosanfrancesco.com - webpage: www.ostellosanfrancesco.com) offers rooms with four or six beds with bathroom at 15.00 euro per person including breakfast and the possibility to use bicycles. July being high season, we advise you to book early (we advise to book two months before the beginning of the workshop).
· The Albergo Al Flor (tel. and fax 0545-64475 - e-mail: info@hotelalflor.com) offers to our students single rooms at 45.00 euro and doubles at 63.00 euro ( all with bathroom and breakfast included). They also offer special prices at their cafeteria.
· The Hotel Gemelli (tel. 0545-63710 - fax 0545-64138 - e-mail: info@hotelgemelli.it) has single rooms at 50.00 euro, double rooms at 70.00 euro and triple at 90.00 euro all with bathroom and with breakfast included; and the possibility to use bicycles; our students can have a 5% discount if they book for the whole week.
- The Albergo Due Galli (same management as the Gemelli - tel. 0545-61376 - fax 0545-64290 - e-mail: info@hotelgemelli.it) has has single rooms at 42.00 euro, double rooms at 54.00 euro, all with bathroom and with breakfast included; our students can have a 5% discount if they book for the whole week.

We have also obtained reduced price meals for our students at several restaurants. For each course there is a choice of several dishes, mostly based on regional cuisine. Vegetarian dishes are also available. The local tourist office (0545-280898) can help you find other forms of accommodation, such as bed&breakfast or "agriturismo", and give general information on places of historic interest.

Registered students are insured against accidents during lessons with a maximum of 50,000.00 euro. Check out with your health insurance company and your national health system about coverage in Italian hospitals in case of illness. Most EU member states have arrangements that allow the citizens of one state to be admitted free of charge in the public hospitals of another. If you have any doubts, contact us and we'll try to find information on the arrangements with your country and the documents you need. Consider that first aid ("Pronto Soccorso") at the hospitals of Emilia-Romagna is subject to a fixed fee ("ticket") of 25.00 euros for minor illnesses that don't need immediate treatment (white triage code). In serious cases don't hesitate to call the emergency phone 118.
